EAL Art and Books Event

When: November 19th 2016
Where: Estero Regional Library -Corkscrew and Three Oaks

Set up: November 18th 2016

The president of The Friends of the Library would like to work with
EAL on an Art & Books program.

The idea is that an artist would chose a book, (any book) whether
adult or child, probably one well known, and create a piece of art in
any medium inspired by the book.

-EAL artist entry fee $5 payable to: Estero Art League cash or
-original artwork only
- any medium: oils, acrylic, watercolor, pastels, photographs
-EAL artists can offer the art for sale up to 5 pieces of art related to
each book.
- if there is any sale 70% to artist 30% to EAL
-One book per artist
-each artist is responsible to man /set up / break down
- library will provide table and one chair
-artist must set up their table and linen table cloth
- artist can bring their own easels and props to set up their station

There will be music and hors d'oeuvres so I think it will be a nice
turnout--this is a great opportunity to showcase your art work.

See you at EAL open paint!
